Questionable actions out on the edge of the Universe.
David Hopkirk's novelization of the story: The Maelstrom Series
The first series of posters for films that don't exist.
--------------------------------------------
I created these while working at a The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and one day I printed off a very large copy of that fully blurbed poster at the top. I hung it up on the scene shop wall, much to the delight of the apprentices who were working with the company that summer. Lots of "You did that?!" question/comments. When one said, "I'd read that, or go see it," I thought, 'Guess I did something right!'
The backgrounds of these illustrations are photographs taken in The Cloisters, the medieval collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The collection is housed in a construct that incorporates elements of medieval buildings in its architecture. This allows smaller pieces on display to have a sympathetic home, and also preserve and display the architecture of the age that might have otherwise been lost.
