One of the brighter pages from that work. Sheppard was heading off on his first "solo" job, and I liked the idea of him walking through midtown. The model with no pants really was posing in Bryant Park one afternoon while I was there, but I took more photos of other people taking photos of her than I did of her.
More concerning the "before and after" of the above image can be found on a dedicated page. All of the source photos I had at this time only showed Manhattan during daylight hours, so I was learning as I went how to change the appearance to that of night. I mean, who wants a ghost story in the bright afternoon, right?
"The Death of Scott Bering." I wanted to capture the fall of the character in mid-point, and so, in addition to the model sprawling atop a stool to facilitate getting the feet off the floor, I also rigged the lap-top case so it would be pulled away from the body.
And with this one, I just pulled the "oldy-but-goody" of shooting two images in the same place, one with Rachel, one without. A digital version of the double exposure, which allowed for the character to "ghost" in front of the furniture piece.
